Many people have wonderful stories of watching their children grow, year after year, filling their lives with the light of laughter and love. But, there are others among us who have begun to experience this joy, only to see a precious little light dimmed. Oh, what pain there is upon the loss of a little one. Only an eternal God, in the expression of His compassion, can begin to heal the hurt. Please know that if you are one of those who has held a child and then watched helplessly as it slipped away, we pray that God will manifest a healing in your life. Also know that we want to remember that precious little one. This page is for you. The Psalm and the poem below are dedicated to you and your child.
Psalm 23by DavidThe LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. A Baby’s PrayerIn honor of Zoe DaniellaNovember 15, 2008 - January 27, 2009
